Pineapple Care has introduced a monthly raffle for all our care staff and support workers to win a shift off paid each month. All staff names were added to a name generator and the winner randomly selected.
The lucky winner this month is Lauren Chapman.

Also, as this week is celebrating carers week, the company Director Lavena shovlar and Operations Director Nicola Lloyd have purchased all carers and support workers a lovely box of chocolates to thank them for their continued hard work and support. 🍍🍍🍍

AND THE GOOD NEWS KEEPS COMING

A Massive Thank you to our lovely carer, Sarah Pignot. Sarah supports all the care staff and office staff, running our out of hours service, being at the end of the phone when the office is closed. Sarah recently went above and beyond her normal duties, leaving her home in the middle of the night to support a service user and her family. we received amazing feedback from the family member, who was over the moon with the service provided. Well done Sarah. XXX

AND THE GREAT WALK BEGINS

Pineapple Care Services Ltd are proud to announce our LD service user’s started their walk of 20 miles throughout the whole of June to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.
The walk was opened by Ian Gleadell, Commissioning Manager of Learning Disabilities and Autism for Thurrock Council and Lavena Shovlar Pineapple Cares Managing Director. The students made a great start walking just under a mile today and will continue throughout the month. Well done everyone.

Such a lovely afternoon

Pineapple Care had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with one of our service users Kenneth Mansfield yesterday, as he enjoyed his afternoon tea supplied by the Orsett Hall Hotel in Orsett. Kenneth won the afternoon tea, when he sent in his photo for our Coronation competition at the beginning of June. Kenneth was collected from his home and brought to Orsett Hall, where he spent the afternoon with his amazing carer Tanya, the company Directors and the Management team. We took photos all afternoon and will be presenting Ken with a photo album, so he can look back and remember his day.
In Kenneth’s words ” This has been the best day of my life”.

Hello, my name is Jess Tolson and I have been working for Pineapple Care as a carer since May 2022.

My time working with pineapple care has been the best experience.

Since working here, I have had some personal problems and the support I have received from each and every staff member has been outstanding.

I absolutely love my job and the job itself is brilliant.

No matter how down I am feeling with personal or job-related problems I know I have the full support of each and every office member or carer and no one is ever too busy to listen to me.
