Pineapple Care have also donated £50 to Comic Relief to work together in supporting people to break free from poverty, violence and discrimination.
At a recent Comic Relief – Red Nose Day event, Lavena, our Managing Director has donated to Pollard’s Promises.
Pollard’s Promises is the charitable arm of Quality Care Group, established as a way for founder Darren Pollard and his team to express their appreciation for the wonderful people in the Care Sector.
Since 2018, Pollard’s Promises has been creating happy memories and generating many smiles by fulfilling “bucket list” dreams and gifting treats to:
Care Sector Employees – carers, ancillary staff and managers who have gone the extra mile.
Care Home Residents or Domiciliary Care Service Users who deserve a little something special.

We love to spread the love at Pineapple Care and that is why on the 14th of February 2022 Lavena has prepared a treat for all the carers.
We had lovely cuppas and bacon sandwiches (vegetarian options were available too) and a catch up with the front line workers so brilliantly representing Pineapple Care throughout Thurrock and beyond.
Bazil, Lavenas support dog and our office companion, may have also helped with the cleaning of surplus bacon!

On the 21st of July 2021 Pineapple Care held an Open Day to thank our staff and their families for all the hard work and dedication they have shown. We were very lucky to experience a gorgeous heatwave just as the pandemic restrictions were lifted and a gathering was allowed. The Open Day venue were the gardens of Orsett Hall Hotel & Spa in Thurrock. With attractions for the kids including a bouncy castle and face painting, this was a guaranteed day of fun and games for all.
We also had a pleasure of hosting various charities, businesses and groups. Amongst them were: MIND, Alzheimer’s Society, Strollercise, DJ Leon Rowland, Lockdown Kouture and Irish Dancers

On the 27th of May Pineapple Care held a Dementia and Alzheimer’s awareness day to raise money for Dementia UK.
Donations were received for a raffle, with Tea and cakes being offered for a small donation to the charity, for families facing Dementia.
Angie Gilbey sang live at the event, singing a range of songs to entertain the guests while enjoying their afternoon tea and sandwiches.
The total raised on the day was £147.00, with Pineapple care matching this amount, making a Grand total of £294.00 for Dementia Care.
Well done to Debbie Hobby and Nicola Lloyd for organising such a lovely event and thank you to all the people who donated to the raffle and made or purchased cakes.
We are pleased to announce that Pineapple Care have successfully moved and settled into our new office based in Orsett Hall. We moved into the new space during June 2020. The office holds a new spacious training room, plus an interview room, so we can take on more amazing Care staff for our forever growing company. The new office provides the same open door policy that we have always promoted. We have had a very successful few months with staff receiving lovely compliments from our service users during this hard time we are all facing of COVID 19.
The team have all strived above and beyond to maintain the high standards that are required during this pandemic, and have continued to bond and grow as team to the best we can.
The management team at Pineapple Care are very proud of all of our staff, and can only continue to promote the standards which Pineapple Care uphold. We are looking forward to seeing where the future takes us in our new office space.
